Love

Caring is something that Charlie Ashfield does best! He can be seen regularly helping his peers and taking the time to interact with others. He shows love for the environment daily and always makes sure our classroom is eco-friendly. He often uses his initiative to help staff and do little jobs around the school. Thanks for being such a loving student Charlie. 

Community

Sam always contributes to make our classroom and school a better place. He always follows the Joey's 5Rs and takes pride in our community. He always has a clean workspace, and appropriate materials for each lesson, and is respectful while listening to instructions. He is a role model for his classmates and is a shining example of the great kids we have at Joey's.

We love having Sadie in our class! Every day she shows up with a positive attitude, ready for learning. She cares for her classmates, teacher and classroom, and always follows the Joey’s 5Rs. She stands up for others when she sees conflict and always encourages others to do their best.

Sadie is a real Joey’s kid and we love having her a member of our class!

 Lucy is a kind and caring classmate who is always willing to offer support to her peers. She has a mature sense of what is fair and speaks up to right wrongs. Lucy has taken caring for the community to a new level by making and selling limeade to raise money for Project Compassion. You are a true community member Lucy, well done!

Excellence

Not only is Gemma a kind and caring person, she is also someone who should be congratulated on her excellence in learning. Gemma is a student who always strives to achieve her best. Her confidence in learning is continuing to grow. Gemma’s continual effort shines through her sentence writing where she is now starting to use ‘because’ and ‘and’ in her sentences. Well done Gemma. You are a 1A Superstar. Keep up the amazing effort.

Joshua consistently works to a very high standard. He pushes himself to complete his work and supports others when he has time. Joshua has shown excellence during year-level activities when the classrooms are busiest. He sets a great example for his peers with his behaviour and focus. Keep up the great work Joshua!

This year, Asher has worked hard to try his best in all learning areas. He has put in a great deal of effort to improve his handwriting, and it shows in his work. Asher is also committed to keeping his area and our classroom clean and organized. He makes a conscious effort every day to maintain a tidy space.
